Expert Tips
Level before you balance
Do not let drag hold the camera
If it only stays put on the heavier drag step, it is out of balance: slide the plate.
Keep the spare 3/8" screw with the case
Bag and label it inside the RC-50, so a lost plate screw does not end a shoot.
Dry it before packing
After humid or dusty shoots, wipe it down and let it dry. Silica gel in the case helps in the monsoon.
Detailed Description
Libec LX10 Tripod System Price in Bangladesh
The Libec LX10 Tripod System sells for ৳145,000 at Momi Enterprise; prices on this page are in BDT. Compare the rest of the range under Libec tripod price in Bangladesh.
Which Cameras the Libec LX10 Is Built For
Size it by the loaded rig, not the body: zoom lens, viewfinder or monitor, battery and wireless video, kept within Libec's 16 kg (35 lb) rating. Typical builds are a Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 rigged for ENG or outside broadcast, or a Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 built up with a broadcast zoom for a studio set. A lightly rigged camera suits the Libec LX7.
When to Step Up to a 100mm Bowl: Libec LX10 vs LX7 vs TH-X
The Libec LX7 Tripod System tops out at 8 kg on a 75mm ball; step up when your loaded rig nears that figure. Libec's published figures for our range (blank cells: not confirmed):
| Libec system | Max payload | Head base | Drag | Plate slide | System weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Libec 650EX | 3 kg | 65mm bowl | 3.3 kg | ||
| Libec TH-X | 4 kg | 65mm ball or flat base | Fixed | ±30mm | 3.1 kg |
| Libec LX7 / LX7 M | 8 kg | 75mm ball | ±40mm | ||
| Libec LX10 | 16 kg | 100mm ball | 2-step | ±50mm | 7.6 kg |
The trade-off is weight: 7.6 kg against 3.1 kg for the Libec TH-X tripod system, the lighter choice for a DSLR or mirrorless rig.
How to Set Up and Balance the Libec LX10
- Open the legs, lock the SP-2B floor spreader and set the height (63 to 173.5 cm).
- Loosen the 100mm ball, centre the bubble level and lock it.
- Fix the camera to the sliding plate with its two 3/8" screws.
- Slide the plate (±50mm) until the camera holds still at a slight tilt; the counterbalance is fixed, so the plate balances it.
- Choose the drag step for the move.
Re-balance whenever the rig changes: on a rig built with a battery plate, a V-mount battery such as the Dynacore DS-260S moves the centre of gravity back.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Libec LX10 price (দাম) in Bangladesh?
The current price at Momi Enterprise is ৳145,000 for the full system: Libec LX10 head, RT50B legs, SP-2B floor spreader and RC-50 case.
How much weight can the Libec LX10 carry?
Up to 16 kg (35 lb), Libec's maximum for the head. Count the whole loaded rig, not only the camera body.
Do I need a 75mm or a 100mm bowl tripod?
Well under 8 kg loaded, the 75mm-bowl Libec LX7 covers it; near or over 8 kg, the Libec LX10 does. Each Libec head matches its own legs: here, a 100mm ball in the RT50B's 100mm bowl.
How do the Libec LX10, Libec LX10 M and Libec LX10 Studio differ?
This listing is the Libec LX10 with the SP-2B floor spreader. Per Libec, the Libec LX10 M has a mid-level spreader and rubber feet; the Libec LX10 Studio adds a dolly. Our mid-level option: the Libec LX7 M with its mid-level spreader.
Is the Libec LX10 a good match for a Sony FX6?
Only once built up. A lightly rigged Sony FX6 cinema camera suits the Libec LX7; with a cinema zoom, matte box, monitor and large battery, within 16 kg, choose the Libec LX10.
Is the counterbalance on the Libec LX10 head adjustable?
No, it is fixed, so you balance by sliding the plate. The drag has two steps: the lighter one for quick pans and follows, the heavier one for slow, steady moves.
Can the Libec LX10 work outdoors in a Bangladesh summer?
Libec rates it for −20 °C to +60 °C, well beyond Dhaka's summer heat. That is not a rain rating, so dry it before packing.
Does the Libec LX10 come with a warranty?
Warranty support is available: ask us for the terms before you order, and see what an importer warranty actually covers. Returns follow our store return policy.
