Matching a Libec system to your camera
Start from payload. Add the body, lens, monitor, microphone, battery and cage, then pick a system rated above that total. A head at its limit will not damp smoothly.
Counterbalance holds the camera where you leave it at an angle. Fixed is fine for a consistent rig; variable earns its cost if the setup changes between jobs.
Bowl size — 65mm or 75mm — lets you level the head on uneven ground without adjusting each leg. Worth having for location work.
