Blackmagic price in Bangladesh — what each product family costs, and why
Why there is no single "Blackmagic price" in Bangladesh
Blackmagic Design is not one product line. It spans small signal converters at one end and cinema camera bodies at the other, and the same model can carry different prices at different sellers depending on whether it was imported through the manufacturer's channel or carried in as grey stock.
This guide explains what each family costs relative to the others and what you actually get for the difference. Live prices sit on the product pages — we do not print figures here, because a number in an article goes stale and then misleads.
The families, cheapest to most expensive
1. Mini and Micro converters
The entry point to the ecosystem. Small boxes that move video between SDI, HDMI, analogue and optical fibre, plus audio embedders and sync generators. This is where most Bangladeshi studios first buy Blackmagic, because a converter solves a problem no amount of cable can.
Within the family the spread is mostly about the SDI standard — 3G, 6G and 12G are not interchangeable at higher resolutions — and whether a power supply is included.
2. ATEM Mini switchers
Four HDMI inputs on the Mini Pro, eight on the Extreme, with hardware streaming and USB-C recording built in. The step up to Pro ISO adds per-input recording and a DaVinci Resolve project file.
Relative to hiring a switcher for a handful of events, these pay for themselves quickly, which is why they are the most common Blackmagic purchase for churches, madrasas, classrooms and small studios here.

3. DaVinci Resolve panels and licences
Resolve itself is free. Resolve Studio is the paid version, sold as an activation card or a USB dongle. The panels — Speed Editor, Micro, Mini, Editor Keyboard — are separate hardware.
The Speed Editor includes a Studio licence in the box, which regularly makes it the cheapest route to both. Work that out before buying them separately.

4. DeckLink and UltraStudio capture
Prices here track channel count and SDI standard far more than headline resolution. A four-channel HD card costs more than a single-channel 4K one and is the right answer for multi-camera HD capture.

5. HyperDeck, Videohub and Teranex
Infrastructure. Recorders, routers and format converters for facilities rather than individuals. Priced by port count and standard.

6. Cinema and Studio cameras
The top of the range: Pocket Cinema, Cinema Camera 6K, Studio Camera and URSA. Sensor size, mount and recording format set the price, and the body is only part of the budget — lenses, media, power and support add up fast.
What makes the same model cost different amounts
Import channel. Equipment brought through the manufacturer's channel carries importer warranty and a support path. Grey stock does not, and the gap usually shows up the first time something needs service.
Warranty. Some sellers in Bangladesh state plainly that their stock carries no warranty. That is a legitimate way to be cheaper — but it is a real difference in what you are buying, and it is worth reading the listing before comparing on price alone.
Bundles. A camera body quoted without media, battery or mount is not comparable to one quoted with them.

Current prices in taka are on each product page. If you are sizing a system rather than buying one item — a studio, a streaming setup, an edit suite — bring the cameras you already own and we will run them through the equipment before you commit.
