Powering a camera kit
V-mount is the broadcast standard for anything bigger than a handheld: one battery runs the camera, the monitor and the light through D-tap.
Camera-specific packs — Sony BP-U series and equivalents — are the right answer when the camera has its own slot and you do not want a plate on the back.
Match the charger to the fleet, not the battery. A four-channel charger that runs overnight is the difference between one shoot day and two.
